The 2007 Thomasville Fly-In was a great success! A great big thank you to our sponsors, our many volunteers and the members of the Thomasville Aviation Club who make our fly-in possible! Come join us again next year for another outstanding grass-roots fly-in.
The 2008 Thomasville Fly-In: October 10, 11, and 12, 2008
The 2007 Thomasville Fly-In saw over 350 registered aircraft and countless drive-in visitors.
The fly-in provided a great opportunity for locals and guests to share aviation stories, see a lot of great-looking aircraft, make new friends and visit with old friends.
The perfect weather we enjoyed at the 2007 fly-in made tent-camping and relaxing on blankets under aircraft wing a pleasure.
Meal-times provided another great opportunity for fellowship and "hangar flying". The fly-in food was great and wait-time reduced from prior years.
The Thomasville Fly-In is a family event; we welcome the chance to introduce the next generation of pilots to the world of general aviation.
Stampede! During the Saturday afternoon candy-drop, over sixty pounds of candy were dropped from a Cessna 172 over an empty field. Children visiting the fly-in waited eagerly to swarm the field and collect the sweets.
